ICOM LAC Repository and Memory
The ICOM Regional Alliance for Latin America and the Caribbean has a long history. In this section, you can consult some of the digitised documents that have been produced since our official beginnings in 1984.
ICOM LAC began as an organisation affiliated with ICOM in the 1980s. The first publications were the ICOM/LAC Secretariat Bulletin and the ICOM LAC Bulletin, produced under the responsibility of the ICOM LAC Presidency between 1984 and 1986, Mexico City.
Subsequently, the journal CHASKI was published in 1990, 1991, 1993 and 1994, under the responsibility of the countries of the region. In addition, the journal REVISIÓN / REVIEW was published in Spanish and English, under the responsibility of the ICOM LAC President. It contained texts and agreements from seminars and conferences held in the region during the periods 1989–1992 and 1992–1995.
